Response 450 Medic 456

  450 is 4 Wheel Drive 1997 Chevy Suburban Advanced Life Support Response Vehicle.   This unit has the capability of going off road and being able to transport a patient from an off road location to a waiting ambulance.   450 is equipped with the same equipment found on all of our ambulances.

  456 is a 1997 AEV Freightliner Advanced Life Support Ambulance.   Nicknamed “The Monster Medic”, this ambulance was the first of its kind in Botetourt Country.   With more than 6’ height clearance inside and plenty of room around the patient, 456 has allowed us to better server you.

  457 is a 2002 Wheelled Coach Ford E-450 Advanced Life Support Ambulance.   With an the longest box available for an E series ambulance, this ambulance has plenty of room to work on our patients.   With the additions of the new equipment, this ambulance has the latest technology to allow us to better serve you.

  458 was a 1993 National Ford E-350 Advanced Life Support Ambulance.   This ambulance was taken out of service in early 2007.   458 has served the residents of Botetourt County through the Fincastle Rescue Squad for over 13 years.   We are currently working on replacing this unit with a Medtech Ambulance.
